Current Project - Under Construction

The Collected Co was engaged to refresh a very popular cafe in Sydney’s inner west. Tasked with a brief to increase the interior seating and update existing finishes, we sought to redesign the rear of the premises with a new layout. Custom banquettes upholstered in plush turquoise velvet and detailed with brass, act to complement the existing finishes while layering a sense of luxury . The new colour tones were selected to balance the warm existing timbers, and provide a contrast in tone and texture.

With the focus on maintaining the French bistro aesthetic whilst aligning with the industrial nature of the Tramsheds, we acted to inject elements of colour and different textures thorough the use of a feature tile for the bar area, and therefore integrate the refreshed frontage with the redesigned restaurant interior. Bold brass signage and branding act to simplify the aesthetic, yet visually portray a new sophistication. Other existing finishes and features also undergo a cosmetic refresh to make this jewel sparkle once more.
