Summer Hill Heritage House

When this lovely family purchased a heritage house in Sydney's inner west it had a lot of original charm, however having been virtually untouched over the years, it was tired and outdated.

The clients engaged us to complete a full refurbishment with an emphasis on updating the home to function practically for modern family living, while also remaining sympathetic to the era of the house and retaining the beauty of its existing heritage features.

A sensitive renovation created a cohesive scheme; seamlessly combining updated finishes and fixtures with practical solutions, whilst retaining the traditional details.

Clean white walls accent the original heritage features such as the ornate pressed ceiling, original fireplaces, high skirtings, and timber fretwork. The sophisticated scheme is interjected with accents of colour, texture and luxurious detailing, which gives fresh energy to an otherwise classic scheme.

The result is an elegant and sophisticated interior, which thoughtfully incorporates the clients treasured collected pieces and art du jour.
